Welcome to Knoka. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of knoka.ai and all related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Knoka provides AI-powered mock interview practice. The Service allows you to:

• Practice job interviews in real-time voice conversations with an AI interviewer
• Receive feedback on your answers, structure, and delivery
• Practice behavioral interviews, recruiter screens, and offer negotiation scenarios
• Track your session history and progress over time

Knoka is a practice tool. It is not designed or intended for use during actual job interviews. Using AI assistance during a real interview may violate the policies of the employer or recruiting platform involved.

3. User Accounts

To access the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering
• Keep your password secure and not share account access
• Be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload or transmit malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
• Harass or abuse other users or Knoka staff

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, content, design, and AI models, is the property of Knoka and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you provide during sessions (your spoken answers, text inputs). By using the Service, you grant Knoka a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.

6. Payment and Credits

Access to certain features requires purchased credits or a subscription. All payments are:

• Processed through Creem, our third-party payment provider
• Subject to Creem's terms and conditions
• Non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy
• Inclusive of any applicable taxes you are responsible for

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. KNOKA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN SUCCESSFUL JOB INTERVIEWS OR EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES. INTERVIEW PRACTICE IS A SKILL-BUILDING TOOL — RESULTS DEPEND ON MANY FACTORS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL.

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KNOKA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO KNOKA IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at hello@knoka.ai.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction, as required by law.
